Four years of the Trump Administration were a crash course in the importance of activism and peaceful protest alongside political work.
We needed voters to show up.
We needed Democratic Leaders to step up.
But we also needed ordinary citizens to speak up.
And they did.
Peaceful protest is one of the core checks and balances of the people.
Voting occurs once every 2-4 years.
But protest is ANY TIME, ANY WHERE, and for ANY REASON.
It’s a constant right that we MUST utilize.
Activists say uncomfortable things.
Because society needs to hear them.
